Back up & restore your workspace
Your data is backed up every day automatically: each run dumps your critical tables, gzips and encrypts the archive, writes a SHA-256 checksum, verifies it immediately, and prunes old copies. Manage it under Admin → Backups.
Choose where backups go
- Open Admin → Backups → Configure destinations.
- Tick one or more targets — Local disk, Amazon S3, Remote FTP or Dropbox. Off-site copies protect you if the box is lost.
- For S3/FTP/Dropbox, paste the credentials (encrypted at rest, shown once). Set Keep the last N backups for retention.
- Click Test connections to confirm every destination is reachable.
Run & verify on demand
Click Back up now for an immediate encrypted, verified run. Each row shows its size, record count and a verified badge. Use Verify any time to re-check an archive is intact and restorable.
Restore
Download an archive, or restore a backup straight back into its own workspace — rows are re-inserted by primary key inside a transaction, so existing rows refresh and deleted rows come back. Restores never cross tenants.
