Keyboard shortcuts

Fly through the queue without touching the mouse — navigate, reply, resolve and open the command palette.

Keyboard shortcuts

flyhelpdesk is built for keyboard-first triage. Shortcuts work anywhere in the workspace as long as you are not typing in a text field.

The essentials

Key Action
j Select the next ticket
k Select the previous ticket
c Compose a new ticket
r Jump to the reply box
e Resolve (or reopen) the open ticket
a Assign the ticket to yourself
⌘K / Ctrl+K Open the command palette
⌘↵ / Ctrl+↵ Send the reply you are writing
? Show the shortcut legend

The command palette

  1. Press ⌘K (or Ctrl+K).
  2. Start typing to jump: Go to Inbox, Go to Admin dashboard, Open customer portal or View marketing site.
  3. Press Esc to close it.

Tips

  • A typical flow never leaves the keyboard: j/k to find the ticket, a to grab it, r to write, ⌘↵ to send, e to resolve.
  • Shortcuts are suppressed while you are focused in the composer, so typing "e" in a reply never resolves the ticket by accident.
  • The reading pane shows a quick legend (J/K Navigate · R Reply · E Resolve · A Assign · ⌘K Command) so you never have to memorise it.
